University of Kent / University of Hong Kong Faculty of Humanities Exchange Programme

Students at the University of Hong Kong currently have a three-year undergraduate programme, and would spend the second year at the University of Kent. Students from the University of Kent would spend the third year of their programme in Hong Kong and would return for a final year in Kent.While students will, subject to the approval of their Programme Director, be able to choose from a wide range of modules to study when abroad, each university will nominate modules that might be of special interest to the incoming ‘year abroad’ students.Hong Kong is an exciting, vibrant city, a jewel in the South China sea with many good beaches and easy access to Mainland China; Hong Kong University is its premier university and is currently ranked the 18th best university in the world. Canterbury is a beautiful and charming city. The campus of the University of Kent is spacious, green and secure, and the Faculty of Humanities is one of the strongest in the UK, with History ranked second in the country for research and French seventh.
