The Staff-Student Group
As its name suggests, the group comprises both staff and students, representing the whole range of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, full-time and part-time, and drawn from each of our campuses. We meet around once a semester to raise and discuss any aspect of teaching and learning, seeking to make creative suggestions for changes to academic or administrative arrangements within the School of English. Members of our Group also serve on other School and Faculty Committees, so we have a voice across the University on a number of key, policy-shaping bodies.
Amongst other things, we look in detail at the module evaulation for the previous year, and make recommendations to the School's Learning & Teaching Committee.
