Matt Shoard 
PhD Candidate (Creative Writing)
Interests
Matt was the first Creative Writing PhD candidate at the University of Kent. His research encompasses creative and critical approaches to artificial intelligence, linguistic theory and social simulation. His awards for creative writing include Young Poet of the Year and a Frogmore Press Short Fiction Prize.
