This module includes study of narrative, character and dialogue, time and structure, description of people and places, and the different forms of prose fiction, such as the short story, novella and novel. There is a mixture of discussion and practical writing assignments so that you can experiment with the range of skills and techniques used by writers of prose fiction. (Code CE167, 30 credits)
