Impressive Employment Figures for the School of English

Kent students from the School of English have a clear advantage in the competitive world of employment. Over the past year, the School has seen a 12% increase in the percentage of employed leavers entering graduate jobs. That places us highest in the University and fifth nationally among English departments. This is a considerable achievement at a time of economic recession, and shows the extent to which employers value a degree in English from Kent as an indicator of a well-educated, self-confident and adaptable employee.
