First Canterbury Laureate announced
Canterbury City Council has appointed Patricia Debney as the first Canterbury Laureate. Patricia has been a lecturer in the School of English for 3 years and is the author of a collection of prose poems 'How to Be a Dragonfly' and a novel Losing You (out in paperback in November) and a collection of short stories forthcoming in 2008.
