Culture and the Canada-US Border
Accommodation
Campus
As a guide, rooms (B&B) on campus will cost between £26 and £40 per night. This accommodation can be booked via the conference registration form.
Canterbury Hotels
Canterbury is obviously a popular tourist destination in the summer. For those conference attendees who plan to stay off-campus, there is a range of accommodation available, but it pays to book early.
The Official Canterbury Tourism website has details of hotels and guest houses here. However, you need to be wary and check where hotels and B&Bs are in relation to the campus. Many tend to be situated on the southern side of the city or in the villages outside the city, and transport can be problematic if you do not have a car.
The following should not be considered as an official recommendation of any establishment, but all hotels and guest houses listed below are within easy reach of public transport convenient for the university and/or have car parking facilities.
