Kent e-learning strategy

The University e-Learning strategy, approved by Senate in June 2007, aims to enhance the range of pedagogic uses of e-Learning by staff and students and to support the delivery of blended and flexible learning.

The strategy encourages Schools to consider the use of technology in their teaching but does not set targets or prescribe how or when technology should be used, instead encouraging academics and Schools to take ownership of e-learning.

The support available includes Learning Technologists as part of the Curriculum and Educational Design team based in UELT to help Schools use technology effectively, creatively and confidently for the enhancement of the student learning experience.

The implementation of the University’s e-Learning strategy is supported by UELT in conjunction with academic Schools and Information Services.
