Introduction to MyFolio for students

MyFolio Logo

MyFolio is Kent's ePortfolio and online PDP tool, available to all students. It is your own online space where you can record your progress at University by creating a profile, uploading content, writing a journal, reflecting on your learning, recording your achievements and making plans for your academic, professional and personal development. All the information you upload to MyFolio is private by default, but you can share the webpages you create as freely as you like. You will continue to have access to MyFolio for at least one year after graduation, to support you in your progression to employment or further study.

You can use MyFolio in the following ways:

Plan your development

  • Start by creating a C.V., complete a skills audit and plan some goals
  • Continue to record and reflect on your study and work experiences
  • Review your progress every term

Improve your learning

  • Use the journal tool to record your thoughts and reflect on your progress
  • Create and join groups to communicate and share ideas
  • Share a page with your academic adviser

Showcase your achievements

  • Share your work with others, and publish to the web

Increase your employability
