Database team

The Development Office Database team maintains and develops the University's alumni and external contacts database, Raiser's Edge. The database holds approx 120,000 records, 100,000 of which are university alumni. Other records include:

  • Honorary Graduates
  • Senior and Honorary Senior members of colleges
  • Former Staff
  • VIPs
  • Important external contacts

Raiser's Edge

Raiser's Edge is used to support alumni relations, fundraising activity, events management, careers service and postgraduate marketing. 

Academic departments can be set up with access to the database and are then supported in its use. To apply for access, please ask your department IT Officer to fill in the Administration Database Access form.

Current projects

  • Working with academic departments to develop their relationship with their alumni
  • Working with Congregations and Events to improve event administration
  • Improving the way we keep in touch with alumni
