Visit Kent

Campus tour days (for students living in the UK and Europe)

If you have been invited to a UCAS Visit Day, we encourage you to attend wherever possible.

However, if you are not able to attend, you are still welcome to visit the University and book a campus tour at either the Canterbury of Medway campuses.

Canterbury campus

Tours of the Canterbury campus take place on Mondays and Fridays and depart promptly at 12 noon from the Visitors’ Reception in the Registry Building (labelled K1 on the campus map). The tour will last approximately 45 minutes and will include the main facilities on campus including the Templeman library, the Students’ Union, and the Sports Centre.

The tour does not include visits to student accommodation, but your guide will point out the various types of accommodation during the tour. You can also take our virtual accommodation tour, which includes 360 views of study bedrooms.

We ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before the tour commences, so you will need to allow some time to make your way from the Visitors’ Car Park to the Visitors’ Reception.

If for any reason you arrive after the tour has left, we will provide you with a self-guided tour leaflet which includes a guided route around the campus, a campus map, and information about the University. The Canterbury campus is made up of 300 acres of parkland, so we recommend comfortable footwear and, in case of bad weather, waterproof clothing.

Please note: The tour will not include visits to individual departments, but you can download individual subject leaflets to find out more about the course(s) you are interested in.

How to book

Complete the online form to book your place. If your preferred date does not appear, this is because this tour is fully booked.
