Undergraduate Courses 2014

A successful future

Kent equips you with essential skills to give you a competitive advantage when it comes to getting a job.

As well as providing a first-rate academic experience, we want you to be in a good position to face the demands of a tough economic environment. We are consistently in the top 20 for graduate starting salaries. We provide a Careers and Employability Service and pride ourselves on the assistance we give our students to develop their transferable skills. The majority of our degrees offer the opportunity of a term or year abroad which provides valuable experiences and opportunities for personal development.

Many of our programmes incorporate placements within companies, facilitated by our global partnerships, contacts within our international alumni network or through our Student Enterprise Scheme. We have a reputation for matching dedicated placement students to a variety of businesses. We also run a nationally recognised 'Employability Points' scheme which rewards student engagement in extra-curricular activities that develop and enhance transferable and life skills.
