Well, my brother came here five years ago and I looked round the Uni and though it was perfect. It's got a really good reputation for Film and Drama and Art. It just looked ideal. I love the campus mainly and Canterbury city is just great.

|How's your course going?
It's brilliant - it's so comfortable and it's quite relaxed. It's really enjoyable and I'm getting along with the work because I'm interested in it. One of my favourite modules is World Cinema, looking at different types of cinema - we've covered Asian cinema, Korean cinema and Spanish cinema. The lecturers are really helpful and are always available when you need them. You can confront them with anything. I went to my Head of Department about a small issue and he was just really cool about it. Yes, really helpful.
What about the facilities on campus?
The Library's great. They've got everything there that you need. The Sports Centre has pretty much got it all covered - it's got its own gym as well, which is pretty handy. There are a few shops as well - that's always been handy. I definitely find it useful to have the Gulbenkian Theatre and Cinema as a resource - it's really cool to just go out to the Gulbenkian to watch a film. It's cheap and they've always got a good showing on.
What are your plans after graduation?
I'd like to do a 'round the world' trip and then I'd really like to go into TV. I've already got my foot in the door with TV - it's what I did before I came to Uni. I was only a runner but they want to give me a better job, hopefully, so that's going quite well.
Any advice for anyone thinking of coming to Kent?
I'd say definitely come and visit. Check the website, check the prospectus. Come and experience it. Come on a tour. Even check out the city as well because you are not just coming to experience the campus, you are coming to experience the area as well. And it's such a good area!
