Undergraduate 2013

A place to inspire you / An approach to challenge you

A successful future

Kent equips you with essential skills to give you a competitive advantage when it comes to getting a job.

As well as providing a first-rate academic experience, we want you to be in a good position to face the demands of a tough economic environment. We are consistently in the top 20 of graduate starting salaries and, six months after graduation in 2010, only 5% of Kent graduates were without a job or a further study opportunity. We provide a Careers and Employability Service and pride ourselves on helping our students to develop transferable skills through their studies. Many of our degrees include a year abroad, providing valuable experiences and opportunities for personal development.

Many of our courses incorporate placements within companies, often facilitated by our global partnerships or contacts within our international alumni network. In addition, students can develop their business acumen by taking Enterprise modules run by Kent Business School, and can develop enterprise skills with the help of the Kent Enterprise Hub. A large number of our students also improve their professional skills and gain hands-on experience through a wide range of voluntary work opportunities.
