Management Science MSc

This is a taught programme within the Business subject area.

Outline

The Master's in Management Science equips you with advanced quantitative and analysis skills to support decision making, identify the best course of action in complex business situations and optimise processes, procedures and performance. Emphasis is placed on learning fundamental techniques from the fields of management science and operational research, and being able to apply mathematical modelling in an objective way to help solve complex strategic, operational and managerial planning problems.

  • Two from: Business in an International Perspective; Data Analysis and Forecasting; Financial and Management Accounting; Logistics and Supply Chains; Management of Operations; Managing Complexity; Performance Management.
  • One from the electives list in Management (Marketing) programme
  • Dissertation of 8-10,000 words

Assessment is by examination and coursework.
