Logistics MSc

This is a taught programme within the Business subject area.

Outline

The Logistics programme is aimed at students seeking to work at all levels of a company, from operational to the strategic level. The combination of quantitative and qualitative skills enables you to be a strategic and critical thinker while being able to address operational decisions as they occur.

You benefit from project work, live case studies with real organisations, including a visit to a company, and guest lectures that may enhance your job prospects.

  • One from Corporate and Social Environmental Management; Corporate Finance; e-Commerce Technology and Infrastructures; Economics of the Electronic Marketplace; European Business; Financial Statement Analysis; Globalisation and Corporate Social Responsibility; International Environmental Law; Leadership and Management; Management of Operations; Managing Diversity and Equal Opportunities; Managing Island and Coastal Tourism; Managing the Multinational Enterprise; Marketing in an International Perspective; Social Responsibility Accounting; Structure and Organisation of the e-Enterprise; Tourism Development in Asia Pacific.
  • Dissertation of 12,000 words

Assessment

Assessment is by a combination of coursework and examinations, plus the dissertation.
