Training and Development

The development and training of postgraduate students and new career entrants in the law, gender and sexuality field is an important and integral aspect of the Centre's objectives and activities.

CentreLGS staff members provide doctoral supervision, research training, as well as support and assistance in publishing in the law, gender and sexuality field.

Membership of CentreLGS is open to postgraduate students who are based at one of the partner institutions. All members are eligible for grants to attend relevant conferences. Students and early career centre members are embedded in a supportive network of scholars across institutions nationally and internationally.

The CentreLGS workshops for postgraduate and early Career scholars in the law, gender and sexuality field, have led to a wider, international network: PECANS
