interRAI is an international collaboration of gerontologists, academics and health care professionals who aim to promote comprehensive, standardised assessment of older people. In addition to improving the quality of assessment and quality of care, these assessments can provide crucial information about the needs of the elderly population.

interRAI UK has been established to promote the care assessment needs of older people in the United Kingdom. It is a registered charity (charity number 1083393) and has the support of CHSS at the University of Kent, PSSRU at the University of Manchester, The Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Senectus.
