EVERY WEEK IN TERM TIME
SUNDAYS (in Eliot College Chapel)
12 noon Sunday Service (with readings, prayers and
Communion). Always followed by a free
lunch! Short and structured ‘C of E’ service which includes
Bible readings, prayers and an interesting and informative address. There are
usually a couple of well-known hymns. The service is taken from the Church of
England Common Worship.
Everyone is welcome,
including people who are not familiar with this kind of church service.
Afterwards we have a free buffet or sandwich lunch and drinks which gives you a
chance to chat to the other members of the society.

This is a fortnightly event which involves some sort of activity - see Events
for more information of forthcoming events. The events held on Thursdays are
varied and contain a mixture of ‘religious’ activities and
non-religious ones. Last year we enjoyed included trips to Cathedral Evensong
with meals at Wetherspoons afterwards, trips to watch plays at the Gulbenkian
Theatre and Pizza and Video evenings…as well as Bible studies.
