where to go, what to see. Drinks and snacks.
Weds 5th
Oct: meet at 4.30pm,
Arrive at
the Cathedral in time for Evensong at 5.30pm. Explore the Cathedral, including
bits not usually open to the public, and see the displays. Meal out in Pizza
Hut afterwards.
Thurs 13th
Oct: 7.30pm in
DVD and Pizza Night
Arrive at
Eliot College Chapel, enjoy the film and eat Pizza.
Sat
15th Oct: Day Trip by Coach - £15 including lunch

Islam for the Curious
A lively
talk by the Anglican Chaplain, followed by discussion. To include 10 things all
Christians need to know about Islam, and why it’s important that they should.
Thurs 26th
Oct: 7.30pm in Eliot Chapel
Sean and David, Committee Members,
will lead a
discussion about journeys in Christian discipleship
Tues 1st
Nov: 7.30pm in
‘November 5th Evening’
we’re guests
of Catholic Society: a presentation about the famous Plot; lots of food &
drink!
Thurs 10th
Nov: 7.30pm in
Chocolat and Chocolate
Our second
DVD night this term, featuring the blockbuster film Chocolat, and lots of chocolate.
Sat
19th Nov: Day Trip by Coach and Channel Tunnel £25
The city of

the cradle of the Northern European Renaissance, and has to be seen to be
believed. Excellent shopping, too. Sorry,
non non-EU students due to visa restrictions.
