Members: Deputy Vice-Chancellor (or a Pro-Vice-Chancellor), currently David Nightingale, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor; two representatives of each Faculty, currently: Humanities: Professor Paul Allain (1/10/2007 to 30/9/2011), Professor David Welch (1/10/2007 to 30/9/2011); Sciences: Professor Michael Tuite (1/10/2010 to 30/9/2014), Professor Elizabeth Mansfield (1/10/2008 to 30/9/2012); Social Sciences: Professor Sally Sheldon (1/10/2010 to 30/9/2011), Professor Sarah Vickerstaff (1/10/2006 to 30/9/2011*).
*Professor Vickerstaff was not a member for one year when she was Acting Head of SSPSSR.
