NUS extra card – a fantastic way to save money

Every year, students studying here purchase NUS extra cards giving them access to discounts for a range of local and national companies. But did you know that the NUS extra card is also available to you as a University of Kent member of staff regardless of the department you work in?

The NUS extra card provides discounts of 10 - 50% off a range of national companies including Spotify, Amazon, Cineworld, the AA and Easyjet - to name just a few. And new discounts are added all the time.

The card costs only £12 for one year, £22 for 2 years or £32 for 3 years so it is advisable to take advantage of the 3 year deal. All of the discounts are exclusive to the NUS extra card. Students estimate they save over £500 every year and you could also be benefiting from this great saving.

To buy a card for yourself, simply call into the Mandela Reception and Kent Union staff can process your application for you. There is no need to bring in a photograph, they can organise that and your card will be available for you to take away with you immediately.
