Student services to benefit from new appointment

Dr Wayne CampbellDr Wayne Campbell has joined the University as its new Director of Student Services. Dr Campbell, who began his new role on 1 August, was previously Academic Registrar at the University of Essex.

He is responsible for teams delivering a range of student services in the areas of careers and employability, welfare and counselling. He is also leading the University's College Masters team.

Professor Alex Hughes, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (External) said: 'Dr Campbell brings with him a wealth of experience and will make a major contribution to developing our student services.

'We are committed to ensuring our students have the best possible experience during their study with us and receive support that is tailored to their individual needs. Dr Campbell's team are central to that commitment.'
