Study in the school
When you enrol on your degree your first contact will be with the staff in your chosen subject(s). Even though the School runs several degrees, each one has a specific staff team, and provides an independent identity; if you’re studying film for example, you will feel like a film student.
However, being within a large school provides a number of advantages. It makes the culture dynamic and exciting and there is a wide range of resources and specialisms that you may wish to draw on outside of your main area of study. As a larger body the School has expertise in a whole range of aspects of performed and visual arts. It also provides for a comprehensive support system: in some cases the larger operation of the School means that we can be more comprehensive in the way we support you and your learning. So it’s really the best of both worlds.
