Multidisciplinary artist and researcher, Elena Marchevska examines the peculiar inter-relationships between public/private space, the screen and the female body.

As a multidisciplinary artist and researcher, Elena Marchevska examines the peculiar inter-relationships between public/private space, the screen and the female body.

She holds a BFA in Theatre directing and MFA degree in Performance and New Media from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Currently she is finishing her Practice led PhD in Arts from University of Northampton.

Her art practice is interdisciplinary and makes use of every media that best fits the subject and content of the project that she is developing. She works in many materials and formats including writing, performance, video/film and electronic media. She is committed to the inclusion of diversity within her practice.
