Students join in Life Class
Students from the School of Architecture have joined in with Student Union campaign 'Love Your Body' by taking part in a Life Drawing Class. The event 'Body Confidence: The Naked Truth' is taking place in Seminar Rm 6, in Cornwallis and is open to anyone to talk about body issues or to take part in the Life Drawing Class.
Neil Cox, who has set up the event said that the life drawing class was arranged, "so that attendees can see and speak to individuals who are confident in their own bodies."
Howard Griffin, the Head of Computing and Communications in the School of Architecture, commented, "This gives our students a great opportunity to engage with Life Drawing. This type of drawing exercise is essential for visual artists of all levels. Familiarity with the form and space of and around the human body is important for these students who wish to become the future designers of our environment."
Body Confidence: The Naked Truth is taking place in Cornwallis Seminar Room 6, 23rd November 2009 from 12-4pm.
