|Alison Coles, Director of Development and Alumni Relations
Alison joined the University in June 2010. She is responsible for all of the Development Office's activities, and also oversees the University's degree congregations and corporate events programme.
Alison's PA is Rosemary Miller.
Campaigns team
Hilary joined the team in January 2009 as a Projects Manager, and became Head of Campaigns in 2012. Her previous administrative experience within the University, the NHS and the world of advertising brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Hilary plays a key co-ordinating and project management role within the team, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the University's capital campaigns.

Also a Kent graduate (K98 - Comparative Literary Studies and English), Anna joined the Development Office in April 2005 from The Woodland Trust, as Research and Development Officer. She became Campaigns Manager in 2011.

Anne-Marie manages the University's programme of legacy fundraising and 'in memoriam' giving and is also responsible for building and strengthening relationships with donors and prospective donors. Jenny joined the Development Office in October 2006. She manages the University's programme of legacy fundraising and 'in memoriam' giving and is also responsible for building and strengthening relationships with donors and prospective donors.
Simone joined the Development Office in September 2010 having completed an MA in International Relations at Kent (W08). She undertakes a wide range of research for the Development Office including potential sources of funding (charitable trusts, companies and individuals) for the office's portfolio of projects.

A Kent graduate (E00 - English & American Literature and Philosophy), Fiona started working at the University in September 2003 as Schools & Colleges Liaison Officer and joined the Development Office in 2006.

A Kent graduate (W06 - History), Michelle has worked in the Development Office since February 2013. A former Christine and Ian Bolt Scholar, Michelle studied for a PhD in History at Kent, and is responsible for all alumni communcations including KENT magazine, the alumni e-newsletter, our social media activity, and a variety of other projects which aim to keep alumni up to date with the latest news from Kent.

Julia joined the Development Office in September 2010, with a broad experience of fundraising across the charity sector. Julia is responsible for a variety of initiatives relating to alumni including events, and is also working closely with the University's alumni association in the USA (University of Kent in America, Inc).
Rebecca joined the University in May 2011 and is responsible for the Kent Opportunity Fund and other fundraising activities involving alumni and friends. Rebecca also supports the activities of the University's Former Staff Association.

Cyrus joined the team in 2008 and is responsible for maintaining and improving the alumni and external relations database, which numbers some 120,000 alumni records. Sandy and Claire provide administrative support and assist in clerical matters relating to the database.
