The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (12a)
With an all-star British cast including Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith, John Madden’s (Shakespeare in Love) enchanting, funny film follows a group of retirees who travel to India to take up residence in what they believe is a newly restored hotel.
Less luxurious than advertised, the Marigold hotel nevertheless begins to charm them in unexpected ways; and, inspired by the beauty of India and by their unexpected new neighbours, they begin to see how love and happiness might yet be on the horizon. Adapted from the novel by Deborah Moggach.
