DESCRIPTION:The latest animation from the Studio Ghibli stable is a dreamy creation adapted from Mary Norton’s children’s book series, The Borrowers. Arrietty (voiced by Saoirse Ronan – Atonement) is a tiny human girl who lives in the basement of a normal human home with her equally tiny father Pod (voiced by Mark Strong – Sherlock Holmes) and mother Homily (voiced by Olivia Colman – TV’s Peep Show).\n\nThey live in constant fear of discovery by the people who own the house (especially from inquisitive housekeeper Haru) and survive by going into the house at night in secret and ‘borrowing’ – foraging for human supplies to bring back to their house and adapt to their needs.
