Canterbury Lions - Railway Swing Band
With 16 saxophones, 8 trumpets, 8 trombones, drums, bass, piano and guitars, plus up to 3 vocalists The Railway Swing Band is a big band in every sense of the word. The band plays a mixture of most of the great Swing era – Ellington, Goodman, Basie, Miller, Kenton and Herman with a few more modern compositions thrown in. This concert will support the local charities in the Canterbury area.
