Oscar-winning documentarian and dire Kevin Macdonald (One Day in September, The Last King of Scotland) takes on the life and career of pioneering reggae superstar Bob Marley.
Featuring intimate archive footage of Marley, Macdonald also interviews his closest family members and associates, resulting in a fascinatingly detailed depiction of the man, musician, Rastafarian and political muse. Macdonald’s return to documentary recalls the recent Senna in terms of its director’s evident passion for his subject.
