University of Kent in America Inc was established to enable more events and networking opportunities for Kent's many alumni in America. It's also a separate charity, a 501(c)(3) which raises funds for exciting student-focused initiatives. The University of Kent has also been recognised as a prescribed foreign university under section 3503 of the Canadian Income Tax Regulations.
