Academic Division

Welcome to the Academic Division at the University of Kent.

The Division is responsible for various aspects of the University's academic administration including the offices of Student Records and Examinations, Timetabling, Admissions and Partnership Services, Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching, and Student Planning and Information. The Division also oversees faculty administratrion and provides support for Schools, Faculty Offices and the University Executive.

Kent Process Library Goes LIVE!

7th September 2011

As part of the University of Kent's Process Mapping project, led by the Faculty Administration Managers and sponsored by the Academic Registrar, the Kent Process Library has today had its live launch and is visible to all members of staff on campus.

Launch of the Process Improvement Centre

6th December 2010

The launch of the ‘University of Kent Process Improvement Centre’ in November is the next phase of a new and exciting University wide project headed up by the Faculty Administration Managers (FAMs) as part of the FAMs' three year strategy to develop processes, people, connections, and strategic awareness. The centre will be located in Room 35 of the Marlowe Building and offer interested parties the opportunity to work on making a range of business processes more efficient and effective.

Collaborative Provision Audit

Following a recent audit of the University's collaborative provision, the key findings confirmed that the QAA had ‘confidence’ in the current and likely future management of the academic standards of our awards and quality of the learning opportunities open to students.

Highly Trusted Sponsor Status

The University of Kent has been welcomed by the Home Office as one of the Region's Highly Trusted Sponsors under the Tier 4 Points Based System (PBS). As a Highly Trusted Sponsor (HTS), the University will be able to offer a wider range of courses to international students and have new services provided by the Home Office to recognise our track record of good compliance.
