The Vice-Chancellor of Kent is the principal academic and administrative officer of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor is assisted by Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Pro-Vice-Chancellors and other administrative officers and their staff in the day-to-day management of the University.
Professor Dame Julia M Goodfellow DBE, CBE, FMedSci, FInstP became the 5th Vice Chancellor of the University in September 2007.
Julia was previously Chief Executive of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
