Deputy Vice-Chancellor Physical Resources
Professor Keith Mander
Responsibilities
As Deputy Vice-Chancellor Physical Resources, Prof Mander has responsibility for Estates, Personnel and the alumni, fundraising and events portfolio. He also has responsibility for arts policy within the University. The following members of staff report to Prof Mander:

Prof Mander is also the Equality and Diversity champion for disability for staff.
He was formerly Head of the Computing Laboratory at the University of Kent and, before that, was Head of the Department of Computer Science at the University of York.
Academic career
Prof Mander’s academic background and research interests include software engineering, the integration of methods of software specification and design, software testing and information systems. He is frequently invited to speak on higher education, particularly in its interaction with computing and information systems.
