Guide for staff
Information
Welcome to the staff pages of the academic integrity website. Use the menu links to find information on deterring plagiarism and using Turnitin in your module.
Turnitin is an online submission tool. If you intend to use Turnitin in your module, consider:
- University Guidelines on using Turnitin.
- Preparing your students to use Turnitin (see 'Using Turnitin as a Formative Writing Tool').
- Departmental guidelines and procedures for online submission and archiving work. Note that work submitted electronically to Turnitin is not stored on University of Kent servers. Where so required, departments are advised to ensure that work is stored locally and securely (eg on CD, DVD, departmental network folders or in hard-copy).
| Email turnitin-help@kent.ac.uk if you have any queries about implementing and/or using Turnitin with your students. |
