European Projects

CHSS has recently undertaken studies funded by the European Union, especially under the EU Framework research programmes. This is the EU's main instrument for funding research in Europe and runs from 2007-2013. These studies are generally collaborations with health professionals in Europe, sometimes with many partners in many countries.

Whilst challenging to organise and fund, the projects are valuable in learning lessons from health and social care systems in Europe and particularly in the accession countries.

You can see the projects of this area and in some cases, the websites associated with FP7 funded projects.

If you would like to talk to researchers who specialise in research with vulnerable people, please do make contact.
